Professional Development

Professional Development

With the introduction of the new Diplomas, the increased demands for employer involvement in the planning and delivery of educational programmes and the 14-19 reforms, the environment within which education staff ‘educate’ is becoming increasingly complex.

These developments are extremely challenging and can place teachers, heads and other education staff under a great deal of pressure.

They also offer opportunities to engage the support of the business community, to enrich teaching and to take learning beyond the classroom.

Through our provision of work related learning at key stage 4 and supporting the 14-19 developments, Education Business Plus understands the challenges and opportunities facing education staff.

Through our established links with employers across Cheshire and Warrington we organise a rolling menu of CPD activities that bring together education staff with representatives from the employer community.  We work closely with schools and colleges to identify support needs; using this information to inform the design and content of our Professional Development offer.
