Checking out the CHECK OUT

Pupils from Broken Cross Primary School enjoyed checking out the world of retail on an Industry Visit to Sainsbury’s, Macclesfield.

Organised by the Education Business Plus team, school staff and Sue Hansford from Sainsbury’s, the children gained a worthwhile insight into the different departments in the store and even managed to take part in a food tasting session.

As Sue Hansford said "Sainsbury’s benefited greatly from hosting the visit. It’s important for young people to sample the world of work and we like to help the local community. It also gives our team a real sense of achievement".
