Work Experience Presentation Day
Sir William Stanier High School in Crewe launched their first ever Work Experience Presentation Day. This event was on Friday March 20th and held at the school. It was attended by local employers and Education Business Plus.
Working together, EBP and the schools work experience team realised that all students had shown outstanding enthusiasm and commitment and this should be recognised.
Representing EBP at the presentation was Sally Coles-Robertson. Sally stated "The students have well and truly displayed their school mission statement of "Believe, Achieve, Succeed" It has been commendable of how the whole programme has come together.
Pictured below are selective students who achieved a Special Achievement Award for outstanding results following on form their work experience.
Director of Ceramic Tiles of Crewe, Janette Nevette presented an Outstanding Achievement to student Bobby Tomkinson. Headmaster Mark Stanyer is also in the picture. Mr Stanyer commented on how proud he was of all the students and how delighted he was that Mrs Nevette had taken the time to be present at the schools first ever work experience presentation ceremony.
Year heads Claire Harper and Jo Cooper presented flowers to the newly appointed administrators programme Michelle Dobson and Lee Caiger. Education Business Plus east team were also praised for outstanding commitment throughout the year. Collecting the flowers on behalf of the east team is Sally Coles-Robertson who coordinated the programme.
