Vacancy Services

Vacancy Services is a support service for all 13 to 19 year olds (or up to age 25 with additional needs) and is contract delivered through Connexions Cheshire and Warrington.   There are dedicated staff sitting within the area teams at Education Business Plus that offer young people a universal information, advice and guidance service.

The employment and training of young people is key in developing and sustaining the economy and individual businesses.  Employers want to identify and attract young workers who are motivated, skilled and aware of what the world of work holds for them.

Vacancy Services is a free recruitment service and can offer employers:

· A matching service between vacancies and young people
· Help in identifying and defining the skills required by business
· Advertising of vacancies through a network of centres, internet site, schools, colleges and outreach locations
· Active marketing of vacancies through text messaging and alert services
· Up to date information on new developments and legislation affecting employers
· Information and advice on free training including Apprenticeships
