The project is funded by the Northwest Regional Development Agency.
The aim of the project is to build awareness in the young people of Enterprise skills through a hands-on approach. Team working, communicating, time management, financial awareness, involvement, listening skills, taking a risk and no doubt many more will be developed during the life of the project.
What does the project involve?
The challenge will involve the children working in small groups to raise to money to buy something for a person in a developing country, such as some chickens, worms or play materials! They will work as a charity, each person having a job role. Judges will select the winning team and runner up to go forward to the final at the High School.
The project will continue into years 7and 8 as the children move to High school. For further information on the project please visit the website http://timeforachange.ebplus.org.uk
