Announcing New Area Teams

In January 2009 we completed a successful restructure of our Education Business Link activities into three Area Teams: Cheshire East; Cheshire West and Chester; Warrington.

The new teams bring together a range of services, all of which build links between employers and the education sector, under a new Education Business Links (EBL) Department. 

The EBL Teams manage our highly regarded Education Business Plus services for work experience, work preparation and enterprise services alongside the Vacancy Line, a free recruitments service for employers and young people in Cheshire and Warrington. 

Increasingly the EBL Teams are developing and delivering a menu of locally focussed work related learning in response to locally identified needs and local commissioning plans.

Andy McIvor, Employer Engagement Manager commented “this restructure positions the EBL Teams to respond effectively to local needs while delivering an efficient service for employers by offering a single point of contact and rationalising the various requests for support that employers currently receive”.
