Mad Scientist's Tea Party
Our STEM Development consultant, Seth Clay, recently took part in the Mad Scientist’s Tea Party in central Manchester as part of the build up to the Manchester Science Festival in Oct half term. Seth is one of our 340 STEM Ambassadors who give their time to help encourage young people to look at STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) as a possible route to a career but to also just enjoy the wonder of these topics.
One of the activities Seth is involved in is as a Science and Maths Busker and here you can see him working to the amazement of young and old alike. Seth in his alter ego of ‘Mr Fzzix’ entertains by making ‘balloon kebabs’, ‘maths mind reading’, ‘the power of love’ and many other such little demonstrations to interest and enthuse people in Science and Maths. Should you want to know more about STEM or becoming a STEM Ambassador you can find his contact details in the STEM section of the site.
