STEMPOINT – HELPING SCHOOLS TO ENGAGE PUPILS IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING & MATHS (STEM)

Connexions Cheshire & Warrington holds the STEMPOINT contract for Cheshire & Warrington, providing brokerage services for STEM Enhancement and Enrichment (E&E). Through this we have a responsibility to provide all schools and colleges with impartial advice and guidance on a wide range of STEM E&E activities, helping them to identify which opportunities can best inspire their young people in STEM. This includes advice on activities listed in Shape the Future directories as well as other regional and local provision. The STEMPOINT contract is awarded by STEMNET. WHAT SERVICE CAN WE PROVIDE TO SCHOOLS?
If you would like to get an event or project going in your school, or would like to know what’s out there to engage and inspire particular groups of pupils with STEM (and whether there are any funds you can apply for) then please get in touch with your query and we will carry out research on your behalf.

We are also happy to come out and visit schools/colleges to find out what you are already doing (a STEM Audit!), what your future needs might be and how you can work to integrate STEM enhancement and enrichment activity into your school/college life.

Regular newsletters for schools in Cheshire & Warrington that share best practice and keep schools up to date with key events and initiatives.
