14-19 Employer Engagement Conference

Warrington Borough Council 14-19 Team and EBP were recently invited to attend the Greater Manchester 14-19 Employer Engagement Conference held at the Village Hotel, Bury.

The day consisted of a number of speakers, including Salford City Council, the DCSF and Macclesfield College and a series of workshops. Over 100 attendees from various organisations were there to share their experiences and ideas surrounding employer involvement and engagement.

Sarah Barlow represented Warrington Borough Council 14-19 Team and Lauren Taylor represented EBP – both attended various workshops including Sustaining Employer Engagement and Employer Engagement and Functional Skills.

Although the conference was specifically aimed at the Greater Manchester area, good practice methods of working and ideas were shared which will be fed back to the Cheshire and Warrington areas.
